Our role was to help promote the activities of the urban regeneration company for the city of Derby, primarily working with its marketing manager. We developed briefs together and delivered various projects, including the company’s corporate brochure and regular newsletter.
Over a two-year period we were also asked to work on projects which served a collective of clients. These included: Knight Frank; Homes & Communities Agency; Derby City Council; Marketing Derby; and a number of regional agencies, including DDEP and Alliance SSP. This led to our development of a brand identity for Derby, which was launched at MIPIM (a worldwide property show in Cannes), and used successfully in subsequent years.
Often, the objective was to attract investment to help fulfil Derby Cityscape’s ‘Masterplan’ for Derby. This included a key document to communicate to potential investors an ambitious scheme for the redevelopment of the Castleward area of Derby. We designed a new identity and coined the strapline: ‘Derby’s place for people to connect’. The prospectus generated much interest and culminated in the appointment of a development partner for the multi-million pound venture.Other projects
