Roca is a multinational, Spanish-owned, world leader in the design and manufacture of sanitary-ware. Working locally with its UK marketing team, we were given briefs to promote selective products.

Its bathroom goods are sold through many retail and DIY stores as well as trade outlets. Our initial design work focussed on providing Roca’s B2B retailers with promotional materials (printed and online) carrying both the Roca and retailer’s visual identities and messages to a trade audience.

We were then asked to develop a direct mail piece, which would help to increase sales for Roca’s extensive brassware range. Our response was to provide a multi-use printed item, which displayed a lifestyle image-based graphic from one side, and tap-specific information and product imagery from the other. In effect, both printed sides could work independently or side-by-side as large format posters or A4 reference/ guides. Care was taken to ensure that the grid and layout design would work with the fold/crease lines, as well as the pictogram, and product table content.
